This October, cocktail lovers are in for a rare treat as Torno Subito hosts BAR CODE: a six-bar takeover that brings some of the world’s most acclaimed bartenders to Singapore. For just two nights, on 3 and 4 October 2025 from 9pm till late, the Dempsey hotspot will transform into a playground of mixology, music, and late-night bites.
Each night will feature three world-renowned bartenders, each presenting one signature cocktail that showcases their creativity and distinct approach. Expect sustainability-driven concoctions, bold reimaginings of classics, and inventive flavour combinations from six leading bars across Asia and Europe:
Friday, 3 October
- Holly Graham, Tokyo Confidential, Japan (#53 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024) – Author of Cocktails of Asia and one of the world’s most influential bar figures.
- Jon Lee, Penrose, Malaysia (#10 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025, Best Bar in Malaysia) – Known for his minimalist, precision-crafted cocktails.
- Millie Tang, De Vie, Paris, France (#29 Bar World 100 Most Influential 2024) – Multi-award-winning mixologist blending storytelling, photography, and flavour in her creations.
Saturday, 4 October
- Chanel Adams, The Bamboo Bar, Thailand (#48 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025) – Breaking barriers as the first female manager and mixologist at Bangkok’s iconic jazz venue.
- Kiki Moka, The Cocktail Club, Indonesia (#19 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023) – A pioneer of Indonesia’s cocktail scene with two decades of trailblazing influence.
- Agung Prabowo, PENICILLIN, Hong Kong (#27 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025) – Sustainability champion and co-founder of Hong Kong’s first eco-conscious cocktail bar.
Late-Night Eats & Full-Sensory Vibes
Keeping energy high, Executive Chef Alessio Pirozzi has curated an exclusive late-night menu with pairings such as Swordfish Tataki ($22), Mini Diavola Pizza ($28), and Torno Subito’s signature Tortellino ($30). To complete the multisensory experience, DJs from Singapore, Hong Kong, and Berlin will be spinning throughout the night.
