
SINGAPORE, 13 AUGUST 2025 – The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has announced Dongfeng by Volt Auto and SELECT as official sponsors for the Young Lions, ahead of the 2025/26 Singapore Premier League (SPL) season.
SELECT – one of the world’s leading producers of footballs – has been a key partner of the SPL for the last four years and will continue providing the official match ball and referee apparel. This season, their support expands to include the Young Lions’ official team kits — marking SELECT’s deeper commitment to football development in Singapore.
Dongfeng by Volt Auto, a global mobility brand committed to innovation and sustainable electric vehicle solutions, joins the Young Lions as the official front-of-shirt sponsor.
Dongfeng by Volt Auto are also directly supporting SPL and local football through a sponsorship deal that has already seen their hatchback electric vehicle, the Dongfeng Box, sit in the National Stadium during the Lions’ Asian Cup Qualifying campaign — serving as the grand prize in a fan giveaway.
Supporters could take part by tagging friends and sharing a campaign post on Instagram, posting a story of the Dongfeng Box during a live match, or submitting an online entry form. FAS General Secretary Mr Chew Chun-Liang was delighted, welcoming SELECT’s continued support of the local game – and Dongfeng by Volt Auto coming aboard football’s journey of change.

“SELECT has been a valued supporter of the SPL ecosystem, providing quality equipment and apparel that meet international standards,” said Mr Chew. “We are pleased to deepen this collaboration with their role as the Young Lions’ kit supplier this season, which further strengthens their footprint across our football landscape.”
He added: “At the same time, we warmly welcome Dongfeng by Volt Auto into the fold as a new sponsor. Their decision to back the Young Lions reflects a shared belief in the power of youth, and football’s journey of growth.”

The Young Lions will kick off their league campaign against Balestier Khalsa on 21 September, in a season that already promises much.
“The team has spent some time in overseas training camps to prepare themselves for the SPL season, and we are already seeing the players gel well as a unit,” said Mr Chew.
