Singapore’s home-grown tableware brand Luzerne is commemorating Singapore’s 60th year of independence with the launch of its SG60 Diamond Collection, an exclusive series of handcrafted porcelain plates and cups capturing six decades of national progress.

The brand is known for its sustainable bone ash-free porcelain and 75-year heritage. Luzerne produces over 28 million pieces annually and supplies to hospitality brands in over 66 countries, including Singapore Airlines.
The centrepiece of the collection is the SG60 Diamond Plate, a limited run of 60 specially designed 50cm plates, painted by local artist and watercolourist Associate Professor Ng Woon Lam. The launch was officiated by Ms. Denise Phua, Mayor of Central Singapore and Member of Parliament in Jalan Besar GRC.

These plates will be donated to charities to help raise S$600,000 in support of mental health initiatives.
Other items in the SG60 Diamond Collection include:

- The SG60 Singapura Plate (30cm, six designs)

- The SG60 Singapura 6-Plate Set (16cm)

- The SG60 Kopi Set (six espresso cups and saucers)
Each design represents a decade in Singapore’s history, brought together through a visual narrative that celebrates heritage with art. The SG60 Diamond Plate combines all six motifs into a single, collage-style piece.

Luzerne’s CEO Elaine Lek, also co-founder of the PleaseStay. Movement for youth mental health, shared that the initiative is a personal mission to raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental wellness.
Over 20 social service agencies have expressed interest in using the plates for their fundraising efforts. Additionally, 10 of the plates will be fundraised online via www.luzerne.com/sg60 in partnership with Community Chest Singapore, with minimum donations starting at S$2,688. Beneficiaries include the President’s Challenge, The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, Samaritans of Singapore, and Limitless Singapore.
