A day out at a cemetery might sound morbid, but this Grade I-listed graveyard is certainly worth a visit. After all, it’s the final resting place of numerous notable figures, including philosopher Karl Marx, novelist George Eliot and singer George Michael. And there’s plenty of life to be found too – the cemetery is also a de facto nature reserve home to foxes, hedgehogs, bats and other critters.
