[Review] Xiaomi Smart Band 10: A S$59 Budget, Yet Stylish and Feature-Packed Wearable for Fitness Enthusiasts

Xiaomi’s latest fitness tracker, the Smart Band 10, has officially launched in Singapore, presenting sleek aesthetics with advanced health and fitness tracking.

Priced at an affordable S$56 (Regular Edition) and S$78 (Ceramic Edition), it is definitely coming in as a compelling option in the crowded wearable market with such attractive pricings.

I have been testing it for the past couple of days and so far, I am loving it for its light weight, contemporary aesthetics and feature-packed tech offering. I have not been so excited about a fitness wearable since my first Fitbit eons ago. Maybe the timing is just right as I recently start to focus more on exercising daily and the Smart Band 10 addresses my health and fitness needs.

Design & Display

The Smart Band 10 sports a 1.72-inch AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels, a 60Hz refresh rate, and 1500 nits peak brightness, making it one of the sharpest and smoothest displays in its price range.

We did not get my hands on the Ceramic Edition, but it looks really premium for an extra $22, with a full white body and straps:

Nonetheless, even the regular version has a premium feel to it, despite the accessible pricing and features a moisture-resistant touchscreen that works well, even during sweaty workouts.

With 10 interchangeable straps, including a pearl-chain pendant for a jewelry-like look, Xiaomi is clearly targeting style-conscious users. This is by far, one of the most fashionable budget fitness bands in the market to my knowledge.

Fitness & Health Tracking: A Standout Performer

The Smart Band 10 supports 150+ workout modes, including auto-detection for running, swimming, and cycling. The 5ATM water resistance and 96% lap-count accuracy in swim mode is really impressive and performs about just as well as much pricier sports watches.

A major highlight is its 21-day sleep improvement program, developed with global sleep societies. I do not use sleep features on smart wearables in general, but those who do will find this nifty and useful.

Smart Features & Battery Life

The band integrates seamlessly with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 devices, offering quick replies, notifications, and Xiaomi Smart Hub control. For those using non-Xiaomi devices like me, it can be easily paired and used with the Mi Fitness app.

Battery life is a strong point and it is able to go on for a whooping 21 days on a single charge (9 days with Always-On Display). I have not worn it for 21 days yet, but the battery is going strong, still at over 95% after 3 days. It is likely one of the longest-lasting fitness bands under S$100.

Verdict

Overall, at just S$56, the Smart Band 10 is cheaper than the Huawei Band 9 (S$69) and Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 (S$98), making it a budget-friendly winner.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is a well-rounded fitness tracker with strong battery life, stylish customisation, and accurate tracking. For those looking for a budget-friendly yet premium-feeling wearable, this is one of the best options in Singapore right now.
