A 28-year-old male employee of national broadcaster Mediacorp was arrested for suspected voyeurism on 10 June 2025.
The arrest followed reports of suspicious behaviour inside a female toilet at the company’s headquarters at 1 Stars Avenue.
According to state media CNA, the police confirmed they were alerted to the case at around 2pm and later arrested the man in connection with the offence.
Investigations are currently ongoing, and no further information has been released by authorities at this stage.
A Mediacorp spokesperson said the man’s employment was terminated immediately after the incident.
They added that the behaviour constituted a “serious incident” and the matter had been handed over to the police for further investigation.
In a statement, the company stressed its commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
“The safety and well-being of our employees is of paramount importance to us, and we remain committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for all,” the spokesperson said.
