SINGAPORE: An 84-year-old pedestrian died on 26 May 2025 after an early morning traffic accident in Choa Chu Kang.
The incident occurred at around 6.15am at the junction of Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1 and Choa Chu Kang Central.
Police confirmed that the elderly man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 53-year-old driver of the involved minibus was arrested for careless driving causing death.
A video circulating online shows a blue police tent between a minibus and a police car in the road’s rightmost lane.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, the police added.
