A 50-year-old man was found dead at Block 88 Dawson Road on 7 September, according to a report by 8World News.
The police said they received a call for assistance at about 7.25pm.
The man was found lying motionless at the foot of the block and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedic.
Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play. Investigations are ongoing.
This marks the third reported death at the SkyVille @ Dawson estate in less than a year.
On 3 February, a 20-year-old man was found dead at Block 86 Dawson Road. The police classified the case as a fall from height.
Earlier, on 26 December 2024, a 19-year-old man was discovered dead at Block 88 Dawson Road in what was classified as an unnatural death.
On 9 May 2023, a 19-year-old youth fell from a high floor of Block 89 Dawson Road and was pronounced dead at the scene.
ICA provisional data shows 314 suicide deaths in 2024, sharpest rise among adults aged 30 to 39
These incidents come against the backdrop of national concerns over suicide rates.
According to provisional data released by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) in July, Singapore recorded 314 suicide deaths in 2024.
Suicide has remained the leading cause of death among young people aged 10 to 29 for six consecutive years.
The figure for 2024 is slightly lower than the 322 provisional cases previously reported for 2023.
However, the ICA later finalised the 2023 figure at 434 suicide deaths. This represents a sharp 34.8 per cent increase compared with earlier estimates.
Authorities continue to emphasise the importance of community awareness and support networks in addressing mental health concerns.
