SINGAPORE, 16 May 2024 – The action continues in the new season of the Singapore Premier League (SPL) as Match Week 2 starts with the hotly contested Eastern Derby between Geylang International and BG Tampines Rovers on Friday at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

Albirex Niigata (S) will be looking to bounce back from their opening day loss as they welcome Hougang United to the Jurong East Stadium. Meanwhile, Lion City Sailors aim to extend their 100 percent start to the season when they host the Young Lions at Bishan Stadium.

The final game of the week will see Tanjong Pagar United playing their first match of the new season as they entertain Balestier Khalsa at Jurong East Stadium and hoping to start the campaign with a positive result.
